Expert Sound engineer (w / m)

You will participate in various event projects, from their conception to execution. You will work closely with our project managers and other team members.

Your missions:

• Training, coaching, and monitoring sound teams.
• Taking charge of technical planning tasks and continuous improvement of the sound equipment park.
• Operating audio equipment, and providing technical assistance during events independently.
• Setup, configuration, and unmounting of complex sound equipment including accessories.
• Technological monitoring to stay at the forefront of developments in the sound field, and as needed, develop and present investment proposals for new equipment or upgrades, justifying their return on investment.
• Planning and supervising (and executing as needed) regular maintenance and repairs of audio equipment.
• Developing and maintaining a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime.

Your profile:

You have a qualification as an sound engineer (BTS, DMA... or similar) or 5 years of practical experience. You have a good level of experience with equipment such as Nexo, Midas, L-Acoustics, Televic, Yamaha... You are interested in computing and are familiar with network-based event technology including DANTE. You are familiar with video conferencing software (Zoom, Webex...). You are able to work independently and focused. You have an overview, you manage well with sometimes a high workload and you keep your course and your good mood in intense situations.

You will be involved in a variety of event projects, from initial planning to final execution. Your work will also include close collaboration with our project managers and other team members.

Your missions

• Installing, configuring, and operating our video equipment
• Setting up and configuring flat screens, LED walls, projectors, and corresponding players
• Acting as a point of contact and ensuring the smooth execution of events in close collaboration with our project managers
• Taking on technical planning tasks if agreed upon

Your profile

You are trained as an event technician or you have at least 3 years of practical experience in the field
You have a good level of knowledge with equipment from brands such as Analog Way ( Aquilon et Pulse... ), Blackmagic ( Atem, Hyperdeck ) Panasonic ( Projectors and PTZ Cams ) , OS X. Knowledge of Av Stumpfl Pixera Media Server is considered as an advantage.
You are interested in computer science and familiar with event-based networking and videoconferencing software (Zoom, Webex...)
You are able to work independently and focused
You have an overall vision and are able to handle high workloads and you keep a cool head in chaotic situations.
It would be beneficial if you are able to lead a team and/or if you have a C1 driver's license
